Client Profile Statuses
Client profile statuses can be configured in a number of ways depending on your booking software. LoopSpark does not control the client profile statuses, we simply display what is provided by your booking software and provide the ability to segment on this data-point.

In LoopSpark, profile statuses can be used in audience segments by applying the filter Client Active Profile
. The major client profile statuses used to segment audiences are:
- Active : Client account exists on booking software, or client profile is marked as
active
on booking software (MINDBODY Online clients) - Inactive: Client account is marked as
inactive
on booking software (MINDBODY Online clients), or client profile has been deleted from booking software. - Lead: Contact does NOT exist in your booking software, and only exists in LoopSpark. A lead will never appear in a segment that contains the filter
client profile status = active

By default, all audience segments will appear with the filter Client Active Profile = Active
pre-populated to help target an audience of relevant clients.
Important
Profile Status is not the same as membership status! Clients can have an active profile
without having purchased a package or membership. For MINDBODY clients that want to target based on membership status, use the filter Client Member Status
Below is an explanation of client profile statuses and things to consider depending on your booking software.
Statuses displayed in Client Profiles
Active Profiles
For MINDBODY Online, clients with the displayed Active
profile status will be all clients that have an active profile on MINDBODY. Please keep in mind that active
profile statuses can exist for clients that have never purchased or attended your business, and this datapoint is different than client member status
.
For all other booking softwares, Active
profile status will be applied to all clients that still have profiles on your booking software.
The LoopSpark filter Client Active Status = Active
will populate all clients that have an active
profile status in your booking software, and will also include all prospects
for MINDBODY clients, as explained below.
Prospect
Prospect stage for MINDBODY Online clients will appear in a client’s profile to further differentiate from active
clients. MINDBODY clients, please refer to following help-doc: Prospect Management
Prospects will be included in audience segments using the filter Client Active Status = active
To further differentiate, MINDBODY Online clients can target only prospects by applying the filter Client Prospect = is a prospect
, or can remove prospects from your audience by applying the filter Client Prospect = is not a prospect`
Inactive Profiles
For MINDBODY Online Clients, please refer to the following help article to learn more about how your booking software is configured: Client Management: Active and Inactive client accounts
Inactive clients in LoopSpark will be any client that is marked as having an inactive
account in your booking software (MINDBODY Online), or any client whose profile has been deleted from your booking software since linking your account to LoopSpark. LoopSpark will mark an account as inactive
if a client’s profile is deleted from your booking software in an effort to preserve client communication logs, while removing the client from any audience segment using the filter Client Active Status = active
Lead
Leads are contacts that have not created an account on your booking software. Leads can be uploaded to your LoopSpark account by visiting Clients -> Upload Leads
Once a lead creates an account on your booking software using the same email address, their lead profile will merge with their new client in LoopSpark, preventing you from double communicating with a lead that has now become a client.
Lead profiles will be marked with a green lead indicator below the contacts name.
Archived leads will be marked with a red archived lead
indicator badge below the contact’s name. Archived leads will not be eligible to trigger any automations.
Important
Leads will not appear in any segment that contains the rule Client Profile Status = active
as the contact does NOT have an account on your booking software. Leads can be added to your segment by using Lead Filters or adding a rule that includes both Active Profiles AND leads: [Client profile status = active OR client lead = lead]
